Oxfam New Zealand acknowledges the death of our ex Chair Peter Conway. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones at this deeply sad time.
“Peter was a much loved member of our Board for over nine years, and our Chair from 2008 until November 2013” Chair Keith Johnston said.
“His compassion and belief in a better world, combined with his skills and expertise were invaluable to our work. He guided Oxfam through some challenging times and he did so with integrity, care and a focus on improving the lives of those living in poverty – not just in New Zealand but around the world. He will be deeply missed”.
