Families are sifting through the rubble of their homes in Gaza to find remnants of their lives. So many have lost everything – they have nowhere to live and are quickly running out of food and clean water. Parents try to protect and comfort their children through long nights filled with the sounds of explosions.
The situation in Gaza changes rapidly with each day. Some days, supply convoys make it across the border with essential items like food and water, and other days, very little humanitarian aid, if any, is allowed in. Critical infrastructure like wastewater treatment and drinking water systems have been destroyed by shelling.
Your contribution can be a lifeline to those affected by the ongoing violence.
Oxfam has had a presence in Gaza since the 1950’s. Our teams are on the ground, ready to fully respond to the emerging humanitarian crisis as soon as it is safe to do so.
