Today Oxfam’s heart is with all of the people affected by the earthquake in Christchurch – those who lost their lives, those who are missing and every family and friend, waiting, with nervousness and hope. If people would like to help, the best thing to do right now is to make a donation to the Red Cross. Because their website and phones are overloaded, Oxfam is accepting donations on their behalf and will pass 100 per cent of funds donated to the Red Cross. Oxfam is also ready to offer support on the ground in Christchurch, should the New Zealand Government request it.
